The birth of RS7 Scents from Heaven - this family business was born from sadness.

In five years I had lost my Mum and our two dogs, Harry 13 and Darcey 16 (brother & sister) We thought we had had our share of heartache but no!

We then lost our 25 year old son Richard, such a clean living boy who had only been working 14 months as an accountant. He had such a lovely nature, always had a smile and was so caring and thoughtful to others, such a gentle boy who appreciated everything you did for him, when he said thank you, you felt it came from the heart. He was always willing to help others even adopting animals from charities. Richard loved studying, and reading books on astrophysics, taught himself Spanish and guitar from the computer. Richard was such a wonderful son, so family minded and had such a bright future ahead of him. We are so proud of him, I have never met anyone like him and I doubt I ever will. It is extremely difficult writing this, but I want you all to know how wonderful he was, and how deeply he is missed. He loved life and was robbed of it.

Richard loved aftershaves and we could smell the scent before he appeared downstairs, whilst up in the middle of the night as I now had insomnia, I thought of Richard and his aftershaves and I started making wax melts from home, using duplicates of aftershaves, perfumes and fresh scents too. This then gave us the idea of starting the business in Richard's name, he always loved pleasing people and we hope that you will get pleasure from our wax melts.

We are launching the business on Richard's 30th Birthday.

Richard had some lovely friends who organised a 24 hour football tournament and the accountancy firm he worked for did a sponsored walk and all proceeds from both went to Diabetes UK in Richard's memory.

Every April, his birth month, the proceeds from RS7 Scents from Heaven will go to two charities in Richard's name, this is something he would have wanted, to help others.
